With a strong professional background in Architecture and Interiors, Chris believes in a common sense approach to design. Focusing on existing conditions and precedents, clients’ dreams and realities, budgets and schedules, Chris uses design as a tool to create a more exciting and efficient built environment.
Experience
Attended Cranbrook Schools Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (1995-97). While at Cranbrook, Chris began an internship at the New York City firm of Tod William/Billie Tsien Architects. At TWBTA he worked on numerous projects including the Rifkind residence (Long Island, NY), The Johns Hopkins Student Center, (Baltimore MD), The Emma Willard School Natatorium, (Troy NY) and the American Folk Art Museum (New York, NY). Since his time at TWBTA, Chris has gone on to work for notable architects such as Voorsanger & Associates and Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Projects have included The Asia Society, (NYC, NY) the Houston Music Hall, (Houston, TX) the Philadelphia Navel Business Center, (Philadelphia, PA) and many private residences. After leaving RAMSA in 2002, Chris began working independently as well as collaborating on numerous commercial and residential interior projects in New York City and beyond. Chris has worked on projects published in The New York Times, Time Out New York, Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, Interiors Magazine, Architecture Las Vegas and Las Vegas Home & Design .
